Fame at last!

Recommended Posts

The article has appeared at last... not a good photo of me at all, nor of Ruby Tuesday - He said he'd take a flattering shot of her too...poor old bendy beak :(

You both look lovely. And its a nice article too.

Do you realise we now all more or less know where you live and can gatecrash that rave Clash City Rocker has been plotting?

(mod that if you want)

Feel free; the more, the merrier.

Thanks Tina, I hadn't noticed my address in there, so have blacked it out.

Nice article

You are NEVER that old!

But I'm glad I have designer Eglu's. I AM Essex woman personified.

Shame I was a bit squiffy last night when I did my Essex Girl acrylics.

Oh well - now I wonder if its OK to carry my designer Eglu down to the country club with me. It won't fit in my Chanel tote (FAKE - canal Street NYC!) or be picked up in the reflection of my Chanel sunglasses... (real, John Lewis Sale - I bought them half price as an anniversary present, a few weeks after I kicked my husband out!).

That's a really nice article Claret. They make hen parties sound weird though, as if we get together just to talk about keeping chickens. And there was me thinking that hen parties were for teaching people about chicken keeping.

I can just picture a load of us sat round an eglu, comparing notes on chicken poo.

Mind you, we do that on here everyday anyway

I think the Hen Parties are made out to sound 'fluffy' because they are called parties rather than courses, and we've seen today with the Waitrose Woman article, the liberties journalists and editors take!

I like the name, it makes it seem much more informal and think it will have attracted people to them.

Great Claire! I found it a bit scary with the Good Housekeeping one, not knowing what they're going to print, and whether they'll get things straight or not. I don't have much faith in journalists. And I don't know why they always have to put ages in! :?
