I won 50 quid on the premium bonds and found out at my scan that it's 95% certain that I'm having the baby girl that I've been longing for.. Was Friday 13th kind to you? Fabulous news about the scan, so lovely to be expecting a little girl. Daughters are wonderful, I thoroughly recommend them....expensive though I had a good Friday 13th too . Nothing as lucky as winning anything, but had a lovely lunch with MIL (it was her birthday), long phone conversation with Sis (her birthday too) and a bit of a leaving party thing in the evening. Cooks Posted June 14, 2008 Share Posted June 14, 2008 my youngest son was born on the 13th, but not of a friday he's most dissapointed about this. I used to be a tad superstitious about the 13th and whilst carrying him, I was told he was BIG and too big for me really and he was likely to be born early (if not they would help ) but I said well as long as he doesn't come on the 13th!.. she said.. Oh there's not much chance.. that would be 3 weeks early. Well... he was born on the 13th 3 weeks early weiging 8lb 15 ozs I was glad he wasn't full term.. Friday 13th holds nothing but luck for me -Owen was a Friday 13th baby, after a VERY long labour, so I was delighted when he appeared! DS1 wouldn't let us see whether he was a Stan or a Susie when he was scanned - he kept twisting away so the radiographer couldn't get a clear view of his nether regions. DS2 on the other hand, was obviously a boy as soon as the picture hit the screen. He's still the exhibitionist of the family! My gorgeous niece arrived on a Friday 13th too.
