Peachy77
Hello. The Omlet van arrived at 10am this morning with our purple eglu cube. An hour and a half later it was all put together and Peppa and Dora (pepperpot and gingernut ranger) were in there new home. About an hour later we went and picked up Fifi (amber star) and popped her in with the other two girls. Already it seems that Peppa is the top hen, dora is bullying fifi, so i guess fifi is looking to be bottom hen. Bullying seems to have stopped but fifi is still a little weary of dora. Fifi however does seem to want a lot of people contact, and we have handled her a few times and put her in the eggport so she know where the house is, then hopefully she might get the hang for tonight and the others may follow suit. Anyway here are some photos im sure you have all been waiting for: http://club.omlet.co.uk/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=30778

Peachy77
Thanks everyone. Had fun putting them to bed last night! Then they havent come out the cube this morning, so i just carried fifi round, then opened the top and peppa jumped out, and dora needed a little encouragement. The silly girls were trying to roost on top on the glug last night - all three of them! Quickcluck - we got the amber star from thornes in letchworth. Its a garden nursery and poultry centre (thornesgardennursery.co.uk). They got about 100 hens in on wednesday night. Think they go quite quickly though. There were loads left when we went over yesterday afternoon.
