chickenlass
------------------------------------------------------------------------ Well...the poor little things are here!! I have quite an assortment this time from THE GOOD;- THE BAD;- AND THE PLAIN UGLY [ BLESS THEIR LIITLE HEARTS] Must confess to being rather shocked at the state of them compared to my previous group. Hopefully some TLC and fresh air will bring them on quickly. [As stressed as they were there were still 4 eggs today once I got them back. ] --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

SAB
Gosh the poor souls are in a bit of a state. I got mine on Sat from Scottish BWHT rescue and they are all very good by comparison (sorry, no pics yet), only some missing feathers at throat/wings/tail and only 1 out of six missing her knickers! A couple of mine are a bit thin, but when I look at your poor girls, I am so glad mine got out when they did. Good luck to all those who have recently picked up ex-batts, especially those of you nursing ill ones.
Rhapsody
Good luck with them after 3 weeks my ex-batts are happy campers, scratching and dozing in the sun. My bald girl Edge sends your oven-readys best wishes

Mutrix Farmers
Hope they all settle in really quickly, and are soon back to the peak of health. Images like this should be compulsory on all boxes of battery eggs, that migt put some people off buying "cheap" eggs.
