Bauble has died

We have just returned home from our holiday in Wales.

 

While we were away Bauble died. She was a very bald ex-batt when we collected her from the Essex rescue last December. The neighbours who looked after the girls while we were away have been lovely. They buried her and the children made her a cross with a Christmas bauble on it. They also marked her grave with some large stones.

 

We were expecting it as she hadn't been herself lately and it is nice to know that the children were giving her extra snuggles during her last few days. I did say a special goodbye to her before we left in case the worst happened.

 

She was quite a character and we will miss her.
