Ain't Nobody Here
There's an awful lot of Omleteenies out there . So many of you have 3 or 4 kids . My two were: 7lb 15oz - 5 days early by Caesarean 8lb 7oz - 10 days late (he was waiting to be born on my birthday!) The first is now 6'2" aged 16 The other's still smaller than me (I'm 5'6") at

Never had any problems The weight thing has no bearing my heavier two were the easier ones. The 2lb 12er is the one who sent me grey. Guest
I would give birth every day for the sheer thrill and pleasure of it. Producing another human being and bringing it into the world is the best thing ever and I absolutely loved it.

I think a tiny preemie would send anyone grey with worry Bron - but she looks wonderful now! BTW, My Auntie The Midwife says that bigger babies are easier to give birth to because there is more for the uterus to push on as you bear down. So the recommendation from the expert is to go for a 'watermelon' every time! And Ginnette I couldn't agree more. The biggest thrills ever were being pregnant, in labour and holding my two for the first time.
chickencam
I've had 3 and I can still sneeze and cough I have however discovered over the last few weeks that playing badminton is pretty uncomfortable I had pubic symphasis disorder I think it's called with all 3 particularly DS and those muscles have obviously never really recovered. I will keep going and see if it gets easier. Having children is great - most of the time
MedusA
I only ever had the one. DD arived 3 weeks early (after a particularly hot curry) and weighed in at a piffling 5lb 11oz. It felt like a lot more though. I am full of admiration for all you mums with whoppers!
Mel (& Paul)
Having children is great But if you cant have children you can also have a fab life full of chickens and horses and dogs (and husbands - who needs a child with a mid life husband in tow )

Snowy
No resting on your laurels all those who have had multiple births and can still jump and cough without *accidents*! It's after the menopause when everything gives way, no more hormones to hold everything in place! So get doing those pelvic floor exercises now! Fizzle Knit
On the subject of pelvic floors, I discovered a couple of years ago that bouncy castles aren't a good idea On the subject of birth weights, I would like to boast and say I gave birth to 13 lb 8 oz at the same time, but that was baby twins
Scramble
Dunno 'bout my kids, certainly hope not as only 13. I was 6lb 2oz - 3 weeks early I'm not sure about my sister but she was late and heavy and had a cone shaped head I was wondering what about baby hair colour? My neighbours just had a baby, well last year...time flys Had dark hair and now has adorabl blonde. Mine was dark, still is. Sis' blonde and curly still is. Anyone's changed? Ms Marple
On the subject of pelvic floors, I discovered a couple of years ago that bouncy castles aren't a good idea Or Trampolines!! I think I must just go for the consistency award!! I weighed in at 9lb 5 oz back in the 60s. OS wieghed in at 9lb 5oz and is a 6ft4ins rugby player/rower YS also weighed in at 9lb 5oz!! He is currently 16, 6ft 1ins and still growing and also a rugby player - but a forward unlike older brother who runs like the wind.... Not sure my height has much to do with it I am 5ft 7ins and OH is just 6ft. ES was 2 weeks overdue whereas YS was 3 days over so I guess he might have made the 10lb mark if I had clenched a bit longer! Glad I didn't though!
