Eldest son has just left to take his driving test!

Another new experience in our lives :shock: ......... I think we are getting old!!!

So please cross your fingers for him :D:D

He has got a bit of a lesson first and then his test at 11.20, so will have to keep myself busy until then....I' m more nervous than him!

*fingers crossed* :D

DD hasn't driven for over 5 years and has never driven in a big city, so is just getting used to driving my car around the busy Birmingham streets. I have been a bit nervous and "ghost-braking" a few times. She's getting more confidant now though. We're off to Stoke tomorrow so she can finalise the paperwork for her ne job. M6 mayhem here we come. :lol:

Got my fingers and toes crossed. Really hope he passes. :D

Should have asked everyone to do that for my son yesterday as he failed (again). Apparently he was going too slow twice (actually doing 40 on a 40 stretch of road). Tsk Tsk naughty boy, they obviously want him to be a boy racer! He is so fed up its unbelievable. This is the second one now that he's taken. The first one he failed as he was waiting to join a roundabout and a car came round and signalled that it was going to turn into his road so he went to go but the car carried on round the roundabout. I said to him my driving instructor always said to me - never assume anyone is going to do what they are signalling. I think it was appropriate that he failed for that as it could have been messy but these things you pick up with more driving experience.

I think our local test centre is very hard on the boys. :x

Congratulations to your son. :clap::clap::clap:

My son passed a month or so ago and now drives himself to college. He takes his sister too, but charges her 50p each way! He is finding the fuel really expensive, so cycles sometimes to save money.

It's great, my car broke down last week, so I was asking my son for lifts here there and everywhere. It's payback time!
