Hubby has reported hail rain wind and sun

I saw none of this as I was shopping,having a great lunch and watching Cirque du Soleil's Quidam in Manchester. It was fabulous.

Really cold here, but sunny. It tried to snow very briefly for a few minutes around lunchtime.

We woke to gales and snow! - yes its snowing still and lying but not on the roads anymore and its windy and oh so cold - verging on the freezing too. I thought it was spring but..............

Sunny breezy day today.

We fenced off the chooks into the border for a few weeks and seeded the lawn with the new chicken grass seed.

Now frost forecast for tomorrow, rats!!

Still snowing here and it looks as if it may be on for the night - its cold verging again on the freezing as it has done all day and I have one chook who looks poorly - think she is just feeling the cold - I checked her out and I wormed the lot of them so I will see!

It's run the whole gamut of weather here today - all with a viciously cold wind - we've had sunshine, rain, hail, sleet and I've been shivering while doing the outdoor part of my courses.

Stars are bright and we have a crescent moon with the most wonderfully clear earthshine.

Today has been sunny, rain, sunny, rain, windy, sunny, hailstones, sunny, rain. It's like April out there.

Woke up this morning to a light dusting of snow. Outside temp of 1oc.

 

The glugs were frozen solid.

 

At least the howling wind we have had for nearly a week has gone thank goodness.

Hi Everyone

Here in Preesall near the sea it was cold enough to put ice into the henian water containers.

So must have been cold!

Not always chat on here as we are looking after our boxer Missy and her new pups , photo of them is on page 2 of " And our other pets " we you know what we mean.

Weather has been wind and cold for a few days here with sun sometimes and rain other times.

The forecast for here for the next week is getting warmer and sunshine.

 

Now at this moment in time we have clear blue skies and sunshine so must be true hope everyone has a great Sunday.

It's taken on a Nikon D40X with a 500ml mirror lens.

I cropped it a little to make the image bigger.

 

Wow what a lovely morning.

So clear you can almost touch the mountain tops.

Evidence of a light powdering of snow here too. Ground frozen solid even though there is a clear blue sky and a dazzling sun.

 

The leeks I pulled this morning had ice in them!

Was woken by a woodpecker in the woods this morning...lovely.

Really lovely day here, blue skies but a bit on the chilly side in the shade. Had a lovely walk on Teggs Nose with morning with the dog to clear my head and it was gorgeous up there and you could see for miles. Dog had a lovely run in the field where the ashes of my last dog are spinkled, she always seems to go mad in that particular field.
