I guess theres something to be said for going to collect them yourself. I would be needing sedating if they were my girls. (In fact I'm not sure I dont anyway )

I am sat here with a HUGE mug of coffee so I dont have to go down for another and miss anything.

 

I should be in bed I have this dreaded cough and sore throat with a temperature, new chook pictures are definately what the doctor ordered!

They rang my OH at 3 and said they would be there in an hour . But he also shouted at me to PLEASE STOP RINGING .

 

I can't accept pictures on my phone so I'll have to wait until I get home . If he puts pictures up on this link some of you may see my girls before I do .

 

Those damn inspectors just won't go away. They should be wrapping things up by now and going home but they haven't found anything wrong yet, so they just keep on looking *stamp, stamp*

I've seen them for real .

 

They are so sweet. OH said they were really feisty and quite stroppy when they arrived but they were lovely and sleepy when I got home so I got to stroke them all. The 2 Corton blues and the columbine have mad punk hair do's which I love .

 

Poor OH though, he spent all last night making a home for them and fencing them in, but when I got home to see them they were all asleep in a line on the fence, bless . I didn't have the heart to tell them that they shouldn't be up there and their new chicken daddy had built that to keep them in, they looked too sweet and sleepy.

 

My three regular girls obviously new somthing was up as I got three eggs today for the first time since November . They were obviously proving they were still the best .

 

I haven't named any yet. I will wait to see what characters emerge, plus one of them is to be my god-daughters chicken which she will choose and name . She gets 1st choice of lady and I will name the rest. She's only 4 so I hope she picks a name I can call without .

 

I'm off work tomorrow so I'll try to get some more piccies in the sun/snow depending .
