Any other handbag addicts out there?

Recommended Posts

I LOVE handbags & am always on the look out for a nice bright bag with lots of pockets, which would be perfect for me.

Anyhow, I have just discovered these bags, which are fabulous & I thought I would share with you just how great they are.

They are in the most brilliant light crinkle washable fabric, have really easy chunky zips, come in loads of styles, aech with heaps of pockets & features,& also come in a veritable rainbow of colours.

They are a little more than I would usually pay for a bag,but they are just perfect for me :P

The bag I bought yesterday (Neworder) is the best handbag I have ever owned :P:P

They are also available for less money on eBay

ahh the eternal (and ultimately fruitless) search for the ultimate handbag... I have lost count how many "ultimate" handbags my missus has owned!! 8)

it comes in the same category as shoes - a few years back her Birkenstocks were the ultimate sandal - now it's her crocs... next year....

I've got several Kipling backs and rucksacks, in my search for the perfect bag! They are great, and I love the fact the come in lovely colours, but be warned - some of the monkeys are worth a lot of money (in my innocence, I just thought they were cute), and hulking teenagers have a habit of pulling them off when you're sat on a bus, or walking down the street.

I have a backpack that my brother gave me many years ago for Christmas, and it was whipped off my back in town one day, the monkey stolen off it, and the bag dumped as they ran off.

Mugged for a monkey....

I love Kiplings too Shona, but mine have all hade th monkeys stripped off by Rosie, who has a collection on her school bag now

Did you know that the monkeys each have a little label with a name on, and they are all named after people working in the factory in France where they are produced?

We get them cheaply at the Bicester outlet store :D

I didn;t until one of the shopkeepers who wintnessed the 'monkey mugging' insisted on phoning the police, and the 12 year-old policeman (sniggering the whole time), informed that his sister collected the monkeys, and started a long story about them.

Crikey - monkey mania

I have just had a look on ebay & the mankeys on their own are selling for £8 - £12

One cheeky so & so is selling the bags with no monkey for just under RRP, then selling the monkeys seperatly, making the complete package more than RRP, plus postage too

I will kep a fim grip on Cindy,my Raspberry monkey

I'm also a handbag addict, you can never have too many. I like mine small but perfectly formed and colourful. My bag of moment is a pink felt Tula bag with lots of buttons stitched on. A good bag can be very hard to find, the men in our house just don't understand

That's ok, Paola - even I was able to see the funny side of it, especially when I realised they had nicked a stupid wee monkey, but had dumped my bag, close enough for me to get to it within seconds, filled with all the usual bumph - purse (with money AND cards), mobile, car keys, the lot!
