A rather difficult decision

Recommended Posts

At least he has taste - Jazz steals socks or potatoes on her way through the utility room. She's so adept at it that we don't realise until we find the odd sock outside the chicken run or a well chewed potato on the doorstep :roll:

There was a dog in the metro yesterday that ate lacy knickers

at least it's only socks

Mel, hope you're reasonably OK today. Cyber hugs.... :D

Enjoy that chocolate and wine

Hi Mel,

I've been following your story about Minky and you are definately doing the right thing. As difficult as it is. I have a toy poodle, very spoilt! and I know if he had to go and share his attention he would I'm sure be like Minky.I hope you get to hear how he's settled.you'll see it will all work out fine, lifes strange at times!Best of luck :)

Thanks Mandy

it IS a difficult decision - specially when he sits there and acts cute  but we want him to be 100% happy 100% of the time - and at the moment he is probably only 75% happy. He really needs someone to give him all the attention he needs and craves.

We have packed his "suitecase" and he has lots of toys and treats etc., and we have been sleeping with one of the soft toys so it smells of us for a while so he will hopefully settle more quickly

Thanks guys

Well it was HORRIBLE - tears all round

He has gone to a new home already - in Bournemouth - a retired chap apparently - I hope that he is happy.

The place is very quiet without him but Charlie and Blue already seem more settled and if we were able to have a decent nights sleep rather than thinking about Mink  then we would have an uninteruppted night :roll:

Thanks again to all of you.

I still find it difficult to think / talk about it and we may have just a LITTLE too much wine over the weekend  so the diet is starting agian
