Snowy
Oh my goodness!! I can't believe those are actually meant to be sold!! My boys could make better cakes than those! Have you seen the one about the easter bunny cakes? They made me laugh! Looking at the rest, that first one isn't too bad!
clootie
Gosh The alien chook in the space helmet would give me nightmares. I know it's a cake domey thing but it looks like a space helmet. eeek, have you seen the creepy baby cake?

Oh Plum, clearly you haven't scrolled back very far on the blog. There are 'birth of your baby' celebration cakes. With ladies. Well, with ladies LEGS and sometimes other ladies' parts. Truly, mindblowingly, fear-inducingly bad.

Plum
Just wasted half an hour . Reckon if I want a new job I could set up a bakery based on that lot. Who wants a cake of a dead sheep or fish http://cakewrecks.blogspot.com/2009/04/fear-factor-cw-style.html

Egluntyne
Oh my word! All of a sudden the cakes I made for birthdays when the children were little don't seem quite so embarrassing.
Lydia
This is bringing back seriously baaaad memories of the first wedding cake I made. The bride (a friend, sort of) wanted an Aladdin themed wedding so I was faced with this manic woman exclaiming "I want Aladdin and the princess outside their palace with turrets, and genies coming out of lamps, and camels, and elephants, and magic carpets, and the cake must be gold with glitter on, and........(this continued for some time). We then had to transport this 3 tierred monstrosity very carefully up the motorway to Leicester Racecourse (possibly the longest and most stressful drive of our lives). Never again! Lydia
Pics! Pics? PICS!!!!???? I expect the happy couple have some but sadly I have none as I had no wish to be reminded of the experience. However, it looked a bit like this .......... but 3 tiers, gold and glittery and much much gaudier if you can imagine this! Also my figures (and elephants, lamps etc) were modelled from icing. Imagine THAT as your wedding cake

Ain't Nobody Here
Reminds me of when I was searching for a virtual cake for Penguinmad's 40th. I came across a very tasteful toilet cake, complete with, shall we say, a little pressie in the pan . It was actually quite good but had a slightly rude word in it so I shan't post a piccie . Who would buy a cake like that? Unless it was a virtual purchase, ANH The cakes have had me in stitches, I liked the ones with spelling mistakes. Alis girls
Took me ages to work out what I was looking at! i must admit I think I could get a job with them. my first effort 13 yrs ago was a telly tubby cake, the telly tubbies were hideous but everyone was very kind. Probably felt sorry for me. I even got a Bugs life tin and made a bugs life one. That is love for you The best was a Jurassic scene - green icing, blue pools and match maker trees and the tubs of plastic dinos that good ol Woolies (i miss em ) used to sell. Kids were well impressed. I am afraid to say I buy them from shops now. At 13 who wants an embarassing mum!! tee hee
