Another Important Decision

Recommended Posts

I knew we'd get lots of helpful advice :D

actually I have a plan but have to persuade Murdo

I think it is pretty apparent thaat the yellow eglu is going to be a rare and valuable item so really should be hung on to!! Also have to say the CA and I both really like it , the issue though is space and just how much garden can be given over to hens!! So my latest brainwave is to keep the yellow eglu but take the extension off it and add that to the new eglu when we get it... leaving us with a small yellow eglu perfect for say... 3 bantams :D:!::!:

because a small yellow eglu tucked away really wouldn't make that much difference would it

I love the idea of cadburys themed eglus (purple eglu)(brown eglu):) but brown isn't available anymore is it? mind you (yellow eglu)(orange eglu)(brown eglu) is pretty good too but that is getting away from the point that we really want a purple eglu

beginning to think that those who suggested (red eglu)(green eglu)(yellow eglu)(pink eglu)(brown eglu)(orange eglu)(blue eglu)(purple eglu) had the right idea

maybe we should go down Lesleys route, our friends already call us the farm and Murdo does keep mentioning goats and bees

If they produce a turquoise eglu we are going to be in real trouble !! I think turquoise would be lovely :) but it would definitely go best with yellow(instant tropical holiday image) so we'd really regret having sold the yellow one then.. did they ever make a mark 2 yellow eglu does anyone know :?::?:

so as you can see the decision making is coming along nicely :):)

I just want them all now! Its such a tricky decision isn't it? I have a (purple eglu) and i think (blue eglu) or (red eglu) would go nice with that for the battery hens i'm trying to persuade OH to rescue (big no-no at moment but i'm working on it!) Not a big fan of pink but it would look nice with a purple eglu... (purple eglu)(pink eglu)

Hummm. Its just like choosing wedding colour schemes again! (for the record i had red, orange and yellow as my wedding colours and that would make a nice eglu colour scheme as well!) (red eglu)(yellow eglu)(orange eglu)

Don't know why i am deliberating this as theres no way i could either persuade hubby or afford anoth eglu but heyho its nice dreaming!

At the moment I have (yellow eglu) & (green eglu)

But when the MK3 come out,do we get rid of the (yellow eglu) or the (green eglu) & replace it waith a MK3 (orange eglu)

I am just as confused as you,MD :?

Interesting Sarah :D We're all obviously confused

At the moment I have (green eglu) and (orange eglu) , but just as soon as the mark 3 comes out I'm going to get a (purple eglu). But either (green eglu) or (orange eglu) will have to go ........ I love them both and deciding to part with one will be painful. Hubby says that (orange eglu) should go, it's the mark 2 and therefore probably worth more than my mark 1 (green eglu) , but I love my (orange eglu) ...... and so do my hens- currently all 7 are sleeping in there and despite free choice of nesting boxes almost all the eggs are laid in (orange eglu) . They queue up to use that nesting box... totally ignoring the vacant (green eglu) nesting box.

But (green eglu) and (purple eglu) do look nice together 8)

Decisions, decisions

MD did you ever expect a sensible answer to your dilemma from us :lol::lol::lol:
