moochoo
Well, you have called her Bob! Does she try to mount the other hens? When you say she clucks, is is a cockadoodledoo or just clucking? It could be possible that Bob's a boy but she might be a late developer....any chance of a photo?

poachedegg
Miss Pepperpots are only available as females.....so probably just a noisy one!
Egluntyne
They are a sex liked breed so the males are identifiable on hatching. She is just noisy.
pearcie
just seems a long time with no eggs 6 months, do some hens never lay then?
Omletina Kyckling
I've had a chicken since last June and she's never laid an egg (although her comb/wattles aren't so well developed as the others)
Plum
She's beautiful just a late developer in the egg department. Looks just like Grackle in the head furniture department. Don't know about laying perhaps she has a hormone disorder.
pinkmagic
A girl I would say, but a masculine looking one!
feemcg
.....a well developed girl . I hatched a Speckled Sussex who laid at a year old (she only ever laid a couple of eggs then got PTS for a prolapse ). Also one of my young Dottes must have been about 10 months there when she started.

Jules.
Miss Pepperpots are only available as females.....so probably just a noisy one! I didn't know they are sex-linked, suppose it makes sense if Omlet sell them.
Hen Watch
My Miss Pepperpot looks exactly like yours. Huge comb and wattles. Her headgear looks completely different from my other 3 girls and she's a more streamlined skinny bird than the others. But she is definately the most pretty one. The Dogmother
That's not a boy! It's amazing, when you see them all together, how different they can look.
4Clucks-minusOne
She is beautiful. Is a Miss Pepperpot a Blackrock?

Abbey Road Girl
Forgive me, but I think she looks like the chicken version of Shirley from EastEnders.
