Angels4
Finally got home with the girls and wouldn't you know it started to rain and the battery in my camera went kaput. After months of waiting here are my new girls. Coco=Buff Orpington Chanel=Buff Orpington Lucy=Silver Laced Wyandotte Ethel=Silver Laced Wyandotte I was only able to get the one picture before the rain came, but I'll get more later. Angels4
They look lovely Mark! how old are they? Thanks Tasha they are eight weeks. I was concerned about them not being ready to be in the cube, but I've removed the roosting bars (although the breeder informed me they are already roosting) I'm going to wait and see on they get on with the ladder but the breeder says they should be fine with it. They are so soft and are making the cutest chirpy, peeping noises.

Angels4
What lovely little chooks How did they get on with the cube ladder? Karen x They worked the ladder perfectly, although they pearched at the top, head inside the cube and bums sticking out, I had to remove the back of the cube and shoo them in which wasn't an easy feat, the each wanted to then pearch on my arm. If they give a repeat performance tonight I'll try and get a picture.
laurmurf
Congratulations, Mark! I was thinking of you only yesterday when I was ironing to 'Steel Magnolias'! I'm so pleased you've got your new babies and filled Pedrick at last!
Angels4
Coming down the ladder may be where the problem is. They are all sat at the top looking and coaxing each other to be the first down. "You go Coco, you're the biggest" "I'm not going, you go" "I'm not going to try it." "I know lets get Lucy, Lucy will try it she will try anything". Angels4
Thank you Jackie. I'm really loving the peaceful and serene beach lifestyle. The girls got their first look at Linus today and were NOT to pleased. I can't wait for them to get a little bigger and used to having cats roaming around.
