Jillus
Any spouses of our esteemed Members Of Parliament on this forum I wonder? I remember reading of one of the Whitehall Brigade that kept chickens a while back. I just wonder what they think of the latest scandal and ongoing news about their expenses? Would they like to comment anonymously on what THEY really think? Anyone got a friend or neighbour that is an MP?
Helly Welly
Would anyone dare admit it???
Valkyrie
Would anyone dare admit it??? I think you've hit the nail on the head there! Also I think that the regulators would have to close the thread down with potential responses.
Ain't Nobody Here
I'd like to think that we're all far too nice (and honest) to be MPs .
jackiepoppies
I don't think they'd admit it Anyway, they wouldn't have time for the forum......if they're not fiddling their expenses, then they'll be trying to find excuses to justify them Jx

Some were fairly honest. Only a few but definitely some Ed Miliband claimed only £6,300 a year in rent for a two-up, two-down, red-brick terraced house in his Doncaster North constituency. Jillus
Esther Rantzen says she is going to stand ! Television presenter Esther Rantzen says she is "sick" of the MPs' expenses scandal and may stand for Parliament. Her plan is to stand against the Labour MP Margaret Moran who claimed £22,500 treating dry rot at her second home - 100 miles from her constituency. Tessa the Duchess
I think Joanna Lumley would make a brilliant MP, not so sure about Ms Rantzen. Glenda Jackson was a Labour MP for a while. Tessa

jackiepoppies
How can we respect them when they have no repect for our hard earned money I can't afford to fritter away my money, why should they be allowed to do it for me Interesting A-Z list on Telegraph web page showing who's claimed what.
