Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

It rained so hard last night that all my potatoes and sweet peas have been battered down.

The sun has just come out and I have pegged out a line of washing...which means it will start raining again soon

Felt quite old last night with a sleeping bag over my lap! This morning was foggy when I got up, but it is just dull and grey today.

I cannot beleive the amount of rain this weekend, literally a wash out. Much needed for the garden though so am not really complaining.

The rain eventually came yesterday... thought my friends garden party over on the north coast was going to be a complete washout but it was glorious over there- hot too!

 

We've had a cloudy morning here and the rain has just started... had enough of this now... please can we have the sunshine back?!

We had over 2 inches of rain over the weekend, great for the garden.

 

We were supposed to have a dry afternoon yesterday and so when the sun came out at 3pm OH and myself went off to the allotment to plant out some more sweetcorn and some celeriac plants and do some picking for tea. By the time we got there a very dark cloud was forming and just as we left it tipped it down and continued to do so for the next four hours

All I can say about today is yuk, yuk and double yuk - and it is supposed to get worse. Looking forward to the end of the week for some sun????

Well they forecast torrential rain here and so far not one drop.....

 

Sunday here was glorious - so much so that I got sunburnt.

I went racing last night in Windsor and although it did not rain it was damp and extremely cold. Today in Watford no rain but cold and damp. Where is the sun hiding

Dry here with patches of grey and blue skies. Perfect weather for my 1st horse riding lesson in over a year

It was quite cold here earlier, but it's muggy and overcast now - perhaps we're due some storms

It's been a beautiful sunny day here- very warm at times

It clouded over towards the end of the evening though and it feels quite nippy now!

It hasn't been too bad here today. Very cold in the evenings though lately.

It sort of stayed dry yesterday, but still dull and dismal - a little light rain in Basingstoke late afternoon, but nothing here. This morning I can see some breaks in the cloud, but no blue sky as yet. The cars look damp, but the ground is dry. Roll on Friday's sun (unless they've changed their minds again), because it is quite chilly here.

It's easy to exagerate but, we've probably just had the heaviest rain I've ever seen while living in Worcester (over 40 years). The part of Worcester that I live in is hundreds of feet above the river level but all our drains have blocked and the rain water is above the level of the kerb. The traffic outside my house has stopped due only to the rain. People who live at the lower (scenic) levels of this city must be having an awful time. It has rained constantly for over 30 minutes, we've been without electricty for more than 15 minutes (better be back on in time for the footy !!!).

Look forward to seeing ourselves on the national news (again).

I can quite believe it Clash....the centre of Sheffield is flooded.......it is all a bit too like June 2 years ago for my liking.

We had some sun and some blue sky - lots of floody puddles in Basingstoke, but we caught up with the torrential downpours later. Luckily we didn't get the storms.

We had torrential rain and a massive thunderstorm while we were in Worcester this afternoon.....and then it all followed us home and we've got flooding and had thunder and lightning all evening.

We had a river out the front last night but it has drained away this morning. The land is still very wet and squelchy though .
