Janty
So far we've used six bags of aubiose and we think that we might need more. The chickens are not in there yet so we have let the quail loose...they think they are in quailie heaven.

Seagazer
Wow Janty the run looks fantastic and huge! Good to see Tony again! He's lovely isn't he? I bet the chickens will be lost in the run
Janty
We have only got one cube in so far plus the quail. The quail can't go into their rablu yet as my cochins are in there....they have been to the vets today for ivermectin as they have scaly leg mite. The vet says that they have to remain in quarantine for 1 month. When we were sorting out the cube in the run tonight, 21 chickens piled into the other cube. It really did look like a rush hour train. Needless to say, we rearranged things a bit. Edited May 29, 2009 by Guest

shaunw
I knew that watching Blue Peter as a kid would pay dividends. look what you can make with an old washing up liquid bottle and some sticky back plastic.....well sort of. My OH (Mostin) came home with MORE RUDDY CHICKENS again the other day (thanks Henthusiastic (and K) i thought you were my friends too ). So we needed a temporary run for them. As i dont throw anything away (you see your OH's do have a point) i managed to knock this together.........i dont know where i got the idea from????? maybe you can help An old crate from one of my suppliers...........With high up roosting bars removable for easy cleaning(by Mostin ) and even a removable poo tray. And finally a spare run extension makes a fox resistant run for them at night. As you can tell i am quite proud of myself for this one.
