basically what above says really, had some friends round so didnt lock them away till late but one of my girls has died!!! shes one of my 1st, I feel a little numb , donno really what to think!

 

anyway, I just needed to tell someone.

Oh Emma, so sorry to hear this, I had a similar experience last year, my hen died in my arms, It was as you say a total shock. All I can say is that at least they had a great experience of being a hen that was loved.
