Lewis
Its just appeared on Faceobook and Twitter. The Los Angeles Times reported that the 50-year-old singer was not breathing when paramedics arrived at his home. The paramedics performed CPR and took him to the UCLA medical centre, the newspaper says. Officials would not confirm if the CPR was successful. bluekarin
If this is true, which it is starting to look that way, they that is incredibly sad. I wasn't a huge fan, and his music was okay, but he was only 50 and had young kids

Charlottechicken
This is a terrible shock. I am not a fan but had the greatest respect for him. No-one else had to lead their life in the public eye like he did, and for that you can excuse any eccentricities. All interviews with those who knew him personally always portrayed a different person than appeared in the pages of the tabloids. A musical genius and kind hearted and well intentioned soul. Ain't Nobody Here
I've just read that Farrah Fawcett-Majors has died too . I knew she had cancer but sad all the same. I used to watch Charlies Angels as a kid.
Guest
As Mum said to me there is the answer to a quiz question we'll never forget. Today is the anniversary of my Dad dying. Actually I felt relief for his children, their lives might be a bit less wierd now. Shame he died young. Terrible shame about Farah Fawcett - I'd not even heard she was ill, but then I live in a bubble without celebrity gossip!

I am so sorry for all his family such a shock God bless them all and give them peace and strength at this sad and no doubt difficult time.
