LaPoule
I seem to have gone a little overboard on the chickens. In addition to the two hybrids I got this spring, I have recently bought five (5!!) new girls (I don't know how that happened... ). But they're SO lovely (and with 9 chickens, I think it really is time to get a WIR ). All the new girls together. Goya - Silver Spangled Appenzeller. Hastings - Light Sussex bantam (also now known as the Bullet Chicken, because of the way she charges at Goya ). Pablo - White Crested Poland bantam - the chattiest chicken I have ever met! Pernille and Umbrella - Black and White Silkie bantams - they really are TOO CUTE! Pernille again (with Lady Hamilton in the background). Umbrella again. Griffin
Gorgeous girls How are you finding the Appenzeller in terms of noise? Because I'd read that they were quite vocal which kind of put me off but I would love one one day.

beach chick
really lovely, esp. Goya. also love your 2 silkies - we had 3 originally, but the fox got Crumpet (white) and we rehomed Apricot (named for his colour, who turned out to be a boy...) so we just have Muffin the black one left. LaPoule
Thank you all for your lovely comments .They are all lovely chickens, and I am so pleased . Integration is taking its time, but we are headed in the right direction . Griffin - so far Goya really hasn't had much to say for herself. Pablo on the other hand chats non-stop! Not loud, but it is constant!
