After what seems like weeks of feeling horrid, I woke this morning feeling fiiiiiiiine - sun was shining,Hubby was out fishing,girls were in bed.

 

So I had a relaxing coffee in the garden & got to work.

 

Then I managed to -

 

Pressure wash,dry,treat & powder 2 Egus & 1 Cube

Strip my sheets,wash them line dry them & put them back on

Do another 2 loads of washing

Sort a weeks worth of washing & put it away

Re arrange the tall kitchen larder cupboard,adding a shelf for herbs & spices

Make 7 jars of runner bean mustard pickle

Go to Tesco for papers,wine & cream buns

Clean the bathroom

Water the greenhouse & harvest tomatoes & a cucumber

Sort the hen pen a bit & add some new perches for them

Pick some Blackberries

Work out how to transfer files on my new HTC Magic smartphone

Get a bit sunburned!

Win 2 games of online Scrabble (& lose 1)

Sell 2 boxes of eggs

Talk the daughter out of dyeing her hair blue

and get on top of my year round Christmas cupboard so I actually know whats in there!

 

It adds up when you write it all down,doesn't it?

Well done - I have done holiday + 1 weeks ironing today which was a mammoth task in itself so well done for gettting all that done

Today I . .

 

Got kids up and went to church (not their fave hobby!)

Changed our bed sheets, dust and vaccumed our bedroom

Did two loads of washing and hung it out

Reorganised the linen cupboard (Duvet cover, pillow cases and a sheet stored in a pillow case) so that I get the right size sheet every time.

Set up a 500 piece jigsaw puzzle with DD

Made lunch

Sorted out magazines in the basket

Put lots of wool away and sorted knitting/sewing patterns

Knitted a Christmas robin

Sewed another two letters on my niece's quilt

Updated the food menu to make selecting meals easier when I'm back at work

Watered my tomatoes, cucumbers and checked on new seedlings ready for overwintering.

Planted more herbs

Spoke to MIL/FIL

Made a decision to stay at home this week instead of heading south

Agreed DD can paint her room bright orange

Vaccumed family room

Cooked roast pork in cider

Picked apples and blackberries from the garden and made a crumble

 

Can't think what else I've done . . .

Flippin' eck you two, what ya trying to do to us? Not only do I now feel shattered after reading everything you've done but now I also feel guilty for doing nothing, although I did work an 11 hour day today if that counts

I feel tired just reading this thread, although I have worked from 8.30 - 12.30 and 2pm till 7 p,m, come in made tea, pastry and have 2 Quiche in the oven as we speak, dishwasher on and I have collapsed at the kitchen table!!
