Our bedroom is in the eaves with lots of roof windows, the rain woke us both up crashing against the panes. It sounded like a train. So outside I go and hey presto, spit spit spit. Hmm nothing much, birdy food down the bottom of the garden chickens out - and rain spit rain rain spit.
