The leaves are only just turning now up here so not much colour but we do get these typical purple/orange sunsets in the autumn.

I love autumn! Esp0ecially the lovely autumn sunshine we keep having at the minute. I don't like the dark evenings though! Have got to get used to them again!

No definatley autumn - OH chuntering about next doors Oak trees leaves all over garden. The other day I could smell stubble burning I am sure of that - we are in London but Hertfordshire is up the road literally 5mins. Today i could smell silage (not very autumy) At first I thought it was the drains but its definatley silage

Wow Claret I LOVE the way the sun is shining through that Chestnut Tree definetly an autum light...and I LOVE Rubys face, it makes me smile.

 

OSH when I look at your picture of "the sky on fire" I'm reminded of a saying we have here in the States.

 

"Red sky at night....saliors delight. Red sky in the morning....sailors take warning".

But seriously we could produce our own calendar as such gorgeous photos on here (line the autumn ones, chicken bums, the close up of the bee etc).

 

If anyone thinks its a good idea and would buy one I am happy to produce it and then order as many as needed and send them out (woudnt of course make anything just charge the cost and postage - maybe if people then wanted to add a little we could give it to the Battery Hens).
