As the weather was so nice I spent most of saturday and sunday in the garden with my girlies, a good book and my camera.

 

So I thought I would share (OH says bore ) you all with some of the pics

 

Gin - Queen Chook - she says "hello" Aunty Cookie

 

OSH - looking a little bare in the knicker department!

 

Snowball - the flirt!, she loves the camera

 

Fizz - doesn`t like the camera

 

Brandy - the BIG baby - still growing and bigger than Gin and OSH

 

Saffy - first proper picture I have managed since she arrived, normally she is a blur

The bantams attempting to free range - "Ooops, word censored!"ody went further than 1m from the cube run door Rum and Raisin joined in too.....and for a first meeting all went well

We think mum was a black silkie and dad was a sablepoot They were boyfriend and girlfriend at the breeder. Although she has lots of new hairdo feathers coming in at the moment so maybe Poland somewhere in there but the breeder only has Chamois polands so perhaps just a more of the top knot gene from mummy silkie

 

and you would only need a very small handbag

Brandy the Buff is growing into a real monster or an Orp! She is bigger than my other two already and she is not full grown yet. Her dad came up to my waist!!

 

I know what you mean about this being a dangerous thread area! I am now trying to avoid any threads with Cochin pictures as I am not sure I can be trusted not to get in my car and buy a couple!
