greenfreek
They've taken themselves off to bed now. So cute they're all huddled up and chatting away. Bless them. I've shut the door over night - is this a good move? I'm sure I'll be up bright and early in the mornig so i'll be able to let them out as soon as I'm awake. I miss them already! I almost wanna put a little spy cam in there with them.
theherd123
Congratulations on your girls, they look really happy in their new home! Closing the door is fine at night esp now its starting to get cold. You will find opinions on the 'door open' or 'door closed' at night issue on here, but it really is each to their own and whats safest for your girls. Happy chicken keeping! annieblue
Picked my girls up this morning too. I hardly slept a wink last night worrying about redmite, foxes, rats, lice, chickens falling off their perch etc etc. Anyway, they're home now, all tucked up in the . Already had two eggs and one was the size of Rutland! It was too big to fit in the egg box and when I cracked it open it had two yolks. I was amazed and took a piccy with the mobile but willhave to download before I can post the pics of the girls and the egss! Thank you girlies - Pip, Polly, Poppet, Lily, Lucky and Lizzie. You've brought a smile to my life today
