Please keep fingers crossed, say a prayer or whatever for my lad on Tuesday morning.

His year group have been given the opportunity to sail on the Faramir ketch for a really, really reduced price. However, only twelve pupils can go so they are having a draw on Tuesday morning in registration time if more than twelve people send their cheques in. He really wants to go. We only got the letter on Thursday evening...they have been offered a last minute deal as one of the parents is something to do with the trust that arranges the trips.

On Friday he went to the school office every break time to see how many people had brought in their cheques and forms.

 

Not that he's keen or anything.

 

He said that he is going to ask at the school office first thing this morning...I've persuaded him to leave it until at least first break.
