Well Pox has a new identity

She was sold as a Speckled Sussex bantam which I just accepted but then saw a couple of photos of them online + knew she wasn't one

 

They had some identical to her at the farm I used to work at with a sign up about the breed, but I just couldn't remember the name then it clicked this morning ... Ancona!

 

I googled it to check and she is and they're in the Omlet breed guide, so should have looked there first

She's really timid compared to the others and is only little, she always runs to the bottom of the garden when they're all freeranging.

Hopefully she'll start laying some soon and calm down a bit
