I have a spicy Pumpkin pie in the oven,a bowl of candy corn on my desk & this in the porch

 

 

There is also a secret choccy lolly stash ready for any trick or treaters we might get (fingers crossed for this year - never had one in 17 years of living here )

My attempt at a pumpkin

We have a load of candles out and the porch light has an yellow and red lighting 'gels' in it so the whole porch is orange

You're lucky Sarah. We get loads of trick and treaters knocking on our door. I have a bog bowl of lollies for them. I've done my pumpkin, its just not dark enough yet to put it outside. I'll pop a pic up later so you can see it.

My ED wanted me to do a Mario one she'd seen on the tinterweb somewhere http://churchofthegeek.com/2005/10/25/mario-pumpkin/. She is unaware how difficult it is to carve pumpkins. Or is that just me?

I have been helping out at the local sailing club today and we did halloween themed food - i.e coffin shaped sandwiches with skeletons in the middle of them, blood soup, and eyeballs and worms. the kids loved it! Unfortunately,the chickens have eaten our pumpkins

Daughters gone off to her party looking very witchy, theres a bowl full of sweets by the front door just in case, although we havent had any trick or treaters here in years - too far from the village! So we eat all the sweets tomorro and the chickens have eaten the pumpkin

Happy Samhain everyone! I'm working nights but we're all dressing up - so you can sleep safe in your beds Surrey knowing that the old Bill will be suitably attired as witches, ghouls and ghosties! Ex has the children and I've just been trick or treated by my own kids!! Didn't recognise them

Garden centre were selling off massive pumpkins at £2 each so I've carved one and left it on their dads doorstep as a surprise, my carved one is going in to work along with pumpkin cauldron (pumpkin stew served in the pumpkin) and salsa served like this....

Not one,but two lots of trick 'n' treaters at out little cottage,with no street lights,no path & barley any neighbours.

One of my little trick and treat visitors asked for an egg instead of chocolate (but he does live next door and is a big fan of the girls )

Isn't it a lovely night - we're standing in the garden with a brazier going. We had steak-wiches for tea and we'll be having homemade pumpkin soup when our friends arrive.

Made my first pumpkin lantern tonight - Little bloke thrilled.

 

Better go - friends at door.

We have some Halloween decorations hanging in our trees. They were only from £1 shop & you had to do a lot of glueing, but they look quite good.

We had 2 lots of trick or treaters. Some teenagers who hubby cleared off. Then some little ones with their parents. Hubby pretended to be really scared & made to jump when he answered the door - which made the little ones giggle. We bought in some bars of chocolate - which they both said thank you for & put them happily in their stuffed full bags. They'd got loads of chocolate & sweets.

For some reason we have had more fireworks going off, than we have trick or treaters ?
