Five words to describe yourself........

Recommended Posts

if you were an animal - what would you be?

what day of the week are you most like - and why?

what colour do you feel today?

aaaaaarghhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

Sorry, can't resist....my answers to the above would be....

if you were an animal - what would you be? I am an animal (take that as you wish!)

what day of the week are you most like - and why? I am most like today, a slight improvement on yesterday and not quite as good as tomorrow

what colour do you feel today - sort of pinkish, with freckles!

Trainers don't like me much.....:lol::lol:

I usually don't partake in these kinds of things either, but, well, sometimes these exercises can be great! We did one at work once where we were all given a tiny little notebook. We had to write our names on the front, and then pass it on. Each one we got, we had to write something in the book about the person who it belonged to. I've still got mine, it is hilarious what people had written about me, adn made me feel very special. It is now one of my most treasured posessions, and I only have to look at it to cheer myself up if I'm feeling a bit miserable.

*groan* we had to do something like this recently at a team building day. I work with a great team, but only one day a week, so they don't really know me very well at all. We had to come up with 2 words to describe each person in the team. For me, they came up with 'friendly' and 'knowledgeable'. I know they meant well, but how boring and nondescript is that?

My 5 would be:

Loyal

Optimistic

Daring

Patient

Cheerful

Well, that's one week of the month anyway! What shall I be next week? :D

...................delusional :D:wink::D

i can't stand it when managers decide they need to evaluate or have a team bonding session. If you're doing the job well why waste time and if your not not then its up to management to show you errors and a way to correct them

I like this thread - good to think about these things sometimes (in contrast to some of you, I do like this sort of thing!) At the moment I'd choose:

calm

thoughtful

caring

reserved

hard working

But I think I'd like to be a bit more:

creative

relaxed

sociable

fit (in my wildest dreams!)

giving

should sum you up better today if you're anything like me after a loss (sorry Mel back on topic now)

I wouldnt know where to start on something like this!

Ok so maybe

Funny

Happy

Loud

Loving

Caring

would be an ok place to start but I have other not so nice qualities too!

As for the fitness, well that is something I'd also love to have - but I even pulled my shoulder playing on the Wii earlier :oops::oops:

Emotional - that's one I nearly put in mine, then realised OH would say that's just another word for irrational, mood swings, psychotic....

And I was trying to keep it positive :wink:

That's a good one Snowy - you'd not be giving too much away there!

I would put emotional to mean that I get far too personally involved!

Thanks guys - I will let you know how I get on. I also have to think of five training needs.

I thought

Home brewing

Animal husbandry

How to upload photographs on a forum

The art of worm compestry

and

How to remain calm in the face of pointless exercises from the boss

(this from someone who was marked down in the "team player" part of her appraisal from excellent to good "because I dont make the tea" - I kid you not  - it obviously doesnt matter that I deputise for my boss when she is on holiday, do more than my budgeted claims, more than my budgeted fees, do, on average 9.5 chargeable hours per working day, when the average is 7 - but hey, making the tea is such an important thing.......
