Unit Posted May 24, 2010 Share Posted May 24, 2010 Cooled down with a shower then had the insane urge to clean the bathroom so now all sweaty again! Still roasting - PC says it's 22°C but my other half's weather station's disagree - 24°C outside & 23°C inside according to technology! I ought to go look at the 'real' thermometer in the garden, but in direct sunlight it'll be toasting and probably make me feel worse!? Did someone mention Pimms...? chickencam Posted May 25, 2010 Share Posted May 25, 2010 About 10 degrees cooler here today, we had some sun around lunchtime, when I was in the supermarket, and it has been dull with a cool breeze ever since. If is going to be overcast it may as well rain, then let us have the sun back, I was quite enjoying it. In the evening I noticed a damp smell in the air and it was actually raining, we had some rain for an hour or so, it only amounted to about 2.5mm, but I suppose it was better than none. It is sunny with a chilly wind today, and we have had the odd ominous loooking black cloud passing over. I still got quite hot mowing the lawn though. My garden is very grateful... I can put the watering cans away for the day at least! Just want it to stop before Thursday when we're off camping for a few days... Dull and quite chilly yesterday, with a strong cold wind, the sun came out in the evening for a while. We had a sunny start here this morning, same cold wind as yesterday, and it is more overcast now, but the forecast looks better for the rest of the week and into the weekend.
