It's ok Claire, I was just feeling a bit sensitive, I have a few things happening here.. :)

Well I'm going for my CT scan today and I'm having a camera down my throat in a months time - something to look forward to :anxious: Hope everyone else is good :D

 

Good Luck with the scan. My Gran had the camera down the throat a few weeks ago and said it was much betterthan she expected. No pain or anything and she didn't gag or even feel like gagging at all.

Morning all! Beautiful and sunny again, although a bit nippy. Think I'm going to venture into the garden in a bit, went out yesterday and realised how much poo was everywhere. Few things need trimming and tidying too.

 

Went to ELC and bought Olly a couple of things for his birthday. Hubby also bought a footie goal for the garden. He said 'ooo, Danny will really like that' yeah, of course and hubby won't play at all :roll: It was reduced so I didn't put up much resistance. Called in the Range on the way down and they had straw hats for £1.99 and lots of Easter-y bit and pieces, so Danny's Easter hat is sorted - I've taken the easy way out!

 

Sorry to hear about Polly, Debs. Hugs to you and Phil.

AND i am back in the room!!!

 

It wasn`t my fault I am told!!! It is the little gremlins that live at Omlet HQ...they got in the pooter that runs the website and snipped my special little wire :(

Best crack on with some work now! I was totally unfocused when I thought I had been cut off from the forum :lol:

How disappointing that your wee is not different Chicky :( Maybe eat some asparagus this afternoon, as that makes your wee smell funny :wink:

 

We are feeling a bit better, couldn't cope with work well this morning, kept bursting into tears in the office. However, I am working from home this afternoon (went to a hospital for a meeting only to find out it had been cancelled :roll: ), so at least I can only think of work and if I cry it won't matter. Phil has taken a half day today, he's going to spend it planting broad beans and in the garden with the girls, he couldn't cope well being in the office either :(

 

Just goes to prove how loved little Polly was and is. Its natural to grieve, it proves we are human, but I hope that to all my friends, normal Debs service has been resumed :wink:

 

Thanks for all your kind words, messages and texts though, it has meant a lot to us both :)

 

Em, the gremlins obviously don't approve of your new user name :lol:

Glad you're back Debs.

 

Well all that and not skybluepink wee or poo. Makes you want to write and complain - they might at least make it a bit interesting - like Mum's yellow eyes when she goes for her check ups. Glad it went well though.

 

Nice trip to Winchester - trying to find the train station was a pain though - no signs and when you found one they disappeared. Luckily I spotted another and we found where we wanted. The lad huffed and puffed and whinged. And I got told off for laughing. But he came back all smiles - and he was given a hot cross bun - and he didn't bring me a taster. :evil: Easy peasy ride back though.

Assembly messed up today :angel: ChildLine came in and the sound refused to work for their video :roll:

 

Then walked home and stopped for a conversation with the loppypop lady :P

 

 

A friends mom passed away over the weekend, she had cancer but I don't think they were expecting it to happen :( - friend wasn't in obviously and there are only a couple of people that know :( Really puts things into perspective!
