LittleOwl
After some discussion we went to Glencroft Poultry a short distance from us yesterday and peeped at their Columbines. This morning we went back and brought 2 lovely girls home with us! There were about 10 to choose from, and the large creamy coloured girlie we chose first couldn't be caught so we figured she didn't want to join us - so we left with these lovely ladies instead. They are 21 weeks old, and are currently in a seperate pen inside our large pen, looking a little bewildered, bless them. So far there has been no pecking through the net from our current girls, though Rico the cockerel thinks it's Christmas as opposed to Easter We think we are calling the lighter one Honey, and can't decide between Amber and Treacle for the darker one. OH said Fudge but I thought it was a boy's name We have just put them away into their little temporary accommodation beside the cube. We had to actually pop them in as they just didn't know what to do bless them This is our first time introducing newbies to oldies, and we are so soft it's making us sad
