Sheilaz
Hello, and welcome to the forum, we share your excitement! The flower theme for names is a good idea. Maybe Petal, and Posy, to go with Blossom? I have a Bluebell & Lavender, maybe Rosemary to go with that? Lily, Honesty, Primrose, Pansy, Violet...... Do let us know how you get along and meanwhile, have fun choosing, and browsing the forum. CatieB
I'm not sure anyone will appreciate our dry humour - but we used to have 3 chickens - thai, tikka and mayo. It was honestly no reflection on our intentions, they lived very happy lives and in fact my sister still has one of them that we had to rehome but has called her boots after the wacky feathers on her feet. We are about to invest in a cube - I hope a correct decision so will soon be joining you picking names again and knowing us we'll have something equally wacky. I am loving this forum and getting lots of help and tips. We want to get maybe 3 or 4 birds. Does anyone know if we are better getting 3 girls and a cockeral, 3 girls only or two girls and a cockeral. Does it make any difference? My husband loves the idea of a cockeral as we live so rurally and he can sleep through anything but I'm not keen on it being under my bedroom window! Thanks in advance
ali-s
I have flower girls It started when I got a Hybrid who I named Lily. I then rescued some Chickens which were in an awful state and wanted pretty names for them. Then I bought four more Hybrids in March and I've got 4 pure breeds arriving sometime this month. I keep thinking of more flowers and want more chickens to use up the names, and today people have listed yet more flowers I had not thought about, when will it end There aren't that many actual flowers in my garden but I do have a garden full of flower girls
txswanie
If you have a bossy one you should call her Hyacinth Bucket. I am so going to save that name for a future chicken.
