joza2210 Posted May 16, 2010 Share Posted May 16, 2010 Well im so happy and so sad First To The good news - The 2 broodys that were sat out side had two under one hen and 3 under the other and 4 hatched this mourning We think it is 2 japanese and my dad slipped 2 pekin frizzles under ... Ok Moving onto the weird news Well yesterday my dad let the big run out side (Silkie and her 5 , 9 week old chicks) and i dont know if you can remember but one of them chicks are japanese , what silkie hatched out ... And guess what my dad went back out to lock the big run up ... silkie ... 4 chicks ... rest of the hens in the house ... But where was the other chick (The japanese one) ? Out of all the places she could of been she some how crawled into the japaneses run and will not come out Now ... Moving onto the sad news (This might be alot to take in) This friday i am flying over to ireland , with my grandma (On friday the 21) to wash the birds then flying back on sunday the 23 ... Then the following thursday - The 27 (Day before the show) My dad is flying to england to pick me up and for us to both fly back again on the friday mourning (Show day) And then we are both coming back to england 8 days later ... I like the wind - it means hubby gets a day off work He works on off shore wind turbines. If the wind is high it means the water is rough and the men are unable to get off of the boats to board the turbines - thus giving hubby a day at home!
