Valkyrie
If we aren't expecting a letter from anyone, it stays in the post office. If it's banking stuff it will be returned and they will find out they either missed the stamp or the plonker that was doing post duty didn't do it right. Of course the post office should be shoved in anyway - we wouldn't have had this problem if they just stuck to the original first and second class and never added large or small which just confused lots of people. Pooh to junk mail of any sort - which the post office seems to happily dump in our box along with the regular post.

sari
Liars and bigots.....the English Defence League are trying to march in Leicester this weekend, under the banner of "women's rights" They say they wish to ban Sharia Law ( which isn't likely to come into force anyway..) ...and are just a new brand of Fascism. No thanks..I'll stand up for my own rights, and the rights of my sisters, daughters etc...and don't need a bunch of knuckleheaded racists to do it for me. Into room 101, please! I was signing petitions last Saturday to keep them out of Leicester. I think Leicester really works as a multi-cultural city and is the last place i would expect to find support for these fascist morons. Are you going to the One Leicester events on Friday and Sunday, Billy Bragg is performing on Sunday, at Victoria Park i think.

Nin is very lightskinned, you wouldn't know the OH is from an Asian descended family....but she understands the threat they pose to a cohesive community like Leicester. I might pootle into town on Sunday...always up for a demo!!
