I've got one earlobe pierced three times and the other one pierced once and also my belly button done. Infact I had my BB done just before my DD's got theirs done to annoy them My eldest DD has had her BB done twice and it's been rejected both times. Youngest DD also has her nose done and I do keep wondering about getting mine done.

Went to the place again today,& was really ready to get it done.

Filled out the form,paid for it all...................then mentioned I was going on holiday soon,& they advised me to wait until I get back,especially as there is lots of swimming & spa type stuff involved.

Ear lobes are fine pierced with a gun. Cartilage piercings should be made with a needle: guns can shatter the cartilage. Yum.

needles ten to be better as they actually take a little hollow tube out whereas a gun just forces its way through.

When doing piercings with a needle do they jush push it very firmly through the cartlidge. Had the top of my ear done with a gun

Had it done at last, and am very pleased with it.

Surprisingly it barely hurt at all,just made a nasty crunching noise

 

It did help that the piercer is a total babe,so I had something lovely to distract me

I have a little gunmetal grey bar bell,with a nice sparkly gem on the end.

I was going to have a ring,but as i am curly,I use an afro comb,so I was worried about catching it

Glad you got it done, it's a pain having to wait when you have decided on something.

 

I don't like the sound of the 'crunching' noise , it's not for me.

That looks so pretty! I like the little star earrings with it too. I'd like it done - but bit too scared. I worry about it rejecting - like my belly button did & I don't fancy the crunching. Well done for having it done!

now this is a bit personal.... my hubby has always said he would like me to have my nips pierced. I wouldnt mind, but what would be in it for me - - - - answers on a postcard please ! Would it not interfere with my bra etc.... I am quite well endowed if you know my drift.

I had one of mine done but it never healed properly and was growing out on one side, so I ended taking it out recently and it healed within a couple of days I prob had it for over a year, so I persevered with it. I always wore t-shirt bras so that it never showed through my clothing I am tempted to try it again but on the other side Having spoken to friends who had them, they can take a while to heal. It also depends on what you use to help heal it. Hope this has helped

A friend of mine had it done a few years back (she's a big cup size, too). I seem to recall she said that she had to wear bars, not rings, while it was healing, or it would have healed in the wrong way? I do a lot of, umm, bouncy exercises, and the thought o having anything to chafe makes me wince. Definitely not for me

Thanks guys, I think I will give it a miss. I had my belly button done a couple of times and each time it just grew out really quickly. Body piercings dont seem to agree with me and I dont fancy THEM being sore for too long. Jane
