My DS is in year 10 so has taken a few modules and geography early. I thought that we were getting them today as they were told to go in after the year 11s. I only realised that "after" meant "two days later" when I checked the web site last night. I am working on Thursday so won't be able to take him in. A few more days of sweating whilst everyone else knows their results

we do (I teach) OCR Nationals in ICT so the students already know our results (phew!) but i am going into school to see how the rest of them got on

My DS is going to get his Maths later that he has done early. Later at his school fortunately means 1pm as opposed to 10am for the Year 11's. How can they make then wait until Thursday?? Thats cruel.

Yes they did - for some reason this year it is today for the first time ever! Though I know my neighbours boy gets some today and some on Thursday, maybe there are still some examining boards who are on a Thursday results day??

You are correct - apparently this year is the first time it has been 2 days earlier than normal. My DD is in yr 10, so they have to wait until 11am to go into school, after yr 11s.

My cousin has just texted with her ES's results and he did very well.

He got A for English Lit and A for English Lang, B for Maths, 5 other B's, 1 C...boy did good

We are a bit confused? ED picked up her results today for 2 GCSE exams sat in yr9 where is the grade on the sheet? our sheet has these headers,........... Board Level Element Code Title GRD1 GRD2 MARk Equiv, now under level she has: GCSE/B and under Equiv she has: a...........so did she get a B or A.......???

Yr 10 results = 2 A*, 2 As & 4Bs - one overall GCSE result is an A - a good start & she can resit the Bs during next year if she wants to.

DS Y10 results were A in Maths and A* (chemistry) A* (biology) and B (physics) in his science modules for this year. He now starts his AS Maths in Y11 and so obviously takes after his Dad
