Is it just me or does anyone else think that Tina' s professional partner Jared wasn't actually a very good dancer. He was OK at the modern dances but I don't think he had a clue with the traditional ones. He looked like the amateur in the Argentine Tango and didn't seem to do anything very much.

Think he was completely out of his depth - why oh why did they replace Matthew Cutler/Ian Waite/Darren Bennett with him? The other 2 new professional male dancers seem pretty good (CRH very obviously fancies one of them  )

No scoring system is ideal - I didn't partularly like the dance off. Maybe it would be better to vote for who you want to leave rather than who you want to stay. As there is no longer a Children in Need aspect to the phone votes it wouldn't matter if this reduced the volume of calls.

Absolutely loved the theme, costumes, sets and the music last night - shame that more credit wasn't given to the singers, particularly on the brilliant Phantom of the Opera rendition. There is a male singer with a really beautiful, silky voice

I think Tina had a couple of more weeks in her so its a shame she went. Ann should definitely have gone. I wouldn't have minded Felicity going either as she just seems to cling on most of the time and their viennese wasn't very good at all.

I really dread losing one of the good dancers and still having Ann in, it would be such a shame.

I was worried when they said that this week's show would be a Halloween special, I expected it to be tacky, but the whole show was so well done, slick stlylish and fun. The makeup and costumes were amazing and I thought that it was great that despite his rant at Len, Brendan took the time to thank the people behind the scenes

We cried with laughter at Ann and Anton, i have really warmed to Anton this year, he has so much patience and good humour, and by golly he needs it.

I hope that next week will be Ann's last week, we don't want to see anyone really good go out by default. I thought that Tina had probably got as good as she could be, she really wasn't improving. She hit some lovely shapes on Saturday, but the bits in between were jerky and there was very little actual dancing there.

I also wouldn't have been too upset to see Felicity go, she also has done all she can I feel. I thought that she would be good and I have always had a soft spot for her, but she has been disappointing.

Gavin also needs to go soon. although he has made some progress.

No it's not just you. I don't rate him either, especially when you compare him to the professional males who were kicked off. Such a shame. Ian Waite was very gracious last week with Michelle. Jared needs a haircut, that annoyed me too

Just out of curiousity looked at the Oddschecker website. Anne is best priced 20/1 to win and rather interestingly can be backed at 4/1 to reach the final weekend. Might have a flutter on that.

Scott & Matt are pretty much joint favourites. I said at the start it'd be won by somebody on the BBC pay roll!

I wonder if Jared would have come across better with a different partner. I remember not thinking much of Aliona (sp?) last year but this year have warmed to her a lot more.

We keep saying that about Aliona, we really didn't like her very much last year but really like her now. We didn't think she choregraphed the dances well last year for her partner so perhaps he will be better next year.

yes Jared seemed a bit of a wet lettuce didn't he, first week was far too simple, next week far too spinny and plain for my liking, and I thought his performance in the A.T. was worse than Tina's! Oh well, gone now, hopefully to be replaced with someone better next time! At least Brian Fortuna didn't let the americans down on the choreograhy front, even if I wasn't keen on him in general!

My goodness what was going on with the judges scoring tonight! Or was it just me? Pamela was overmarked, Michelle under and poor Scott definitely didn't deserve a 4 - I mean that's only 2 more than Ann who was simply horrendous tonight. I bet we lose someone good tomorrow. If people keep Ann in then it's a joke.

I thought it bizarre too; There was obviously some good cop, bad cop scripting going on with the judges. I reckon that they score and crit in such a way as to manipulate the public voting too - for instance, they slated Scott who is very popular, and for no obvious reason - that will create a backlash in the viewer voting.

Ann needs to go, and poor Patsy doesn't have a rhythmical bone in her body. At least Gavin had stopped adoring himself quite so much and appeared to be concentrating more on his partner - someone must have had a word with him! I thought that Kara was very good, and so was Jimi.

I've read the Digital Spy Strictly forum and know who got kicked off. Terrible result. The dance off has to come back.

Agreed completely. At least with the dance off you knew that provided two of the best ones didn't go up against each other you were pretty secure in keeping the good ones. Twas not a result i was expecting or like.

I'll have to check out the spy forum

Is it just me, or are the judges comments getting more risque? I hit the mute button now when Bruno & Alesha start commenting. Their references to s** are something that I don't want my lovely innocent 6 year old son to hear, especially at 6.30pm. Just listen carefully to the comments next time you watch, & consider for yourself if you'd like a young child to hear what's being said.

I've sent off a complaint to the BBC. Doubt it'll get anywhere.

Have just read the Digital Spy spolier as I am out this evening - if this is true then it is proof that doing away with the dance off is utterly insane - I could not agree more re Alesha - she cannot string a sentence together which annoys me as it is a family show (and I know I sound like a total fascist!) and is not a dance expert. A waste of space.

I thought Scott was very disappointing tonight and also thought Matt should have had some 10s by now!! Kara was fabulous, Ann excrutiating as always and Michelle should not be there at all any more.....am wondering how much longer I shall be able to watch if the results continue to be as ridiculous as this week and last week....

but suspect Matt will keep be watching

Oh no! I dread watching tonight now! I'm going to re-watch last night's programme as we were at our caravan and its a teeny weeny tv. Kara's dance was absolutely stunning - those tricks that she did were amazing. Really enjoyed Jimi's quickstep although it was quite a slow quickstep.

I agree that Scott's rhumba was nothing special but for a male celebrity it wasn't bad. Loved Matt's Viennese but against all the different dances it was perhaps a tad boring.

I just think that Len overscores the ladies (Pamela and Felicity especially - they were not good last night) and Craig was just in a really strange mood and had lower scoring than normal. :?
