This is really useful. I'm on Orange and lately the signal on the phones has gone terrible!!! We normally have to put our phones in the window-sill just to get signal. So when I heard about this I just had to do it! It's great. I have full signal in the house now.

All you have to do it enter your number on the website, they will send you a text and you have to reply saying "YES" and then turn your phone on and off when they message you back and you will pick up T-Mobile signal aswell which is great! There is no extra charge for using the T-Mobile signal either.

I've just done this - had a text from Orange about it. excellent news and it doesn't cost any more (which was my initial concern).

That is because T-Mobile and Orange are now one company after a recent merge.

Yep. They have both merged together and it doesnt cost anymore. I'm really happy, it's great as I've finally got signal in the house!!

Yeah, it's done that to a few people. I found that when I had already turned my phone on/off it sent me the message then.

Aha! That's really useful, thanks Signal is ok at home but rubbish at our parents houses so that will hopefully solve things

I'm on Vodaphone here mainly because we knew there was a good reception in this area. OH had Orange because it was fine while he was in London, but rubbish here - he had to go in the garden and it still wasn't much good, so he's changed it now. And I haven't a clue which one it is either!

That's great - thanks for the tip. I've been with Orange for a few years now and the signal at home has always been awful. Most of the time I have to go outside to get a signal and when it rains I have to go half way down the street! Had contemplated changing to another network but I use the 2 for 1 Orange Wednesday cinema deal so I've put up with the poor signal. Now I won't have too .

My signal has been terrible for about four months.

 

There has been a pressure group created in our town and many people have got refunds as they have 18/24 month contracts...

Oooo thank you very much - have been with Orange for years which makes the contract so cheap I never leave, but the reception around here can be dreadful!

I've been on Orange for about 8 years, always had rubbish signal at home, but fine everywhere else, just stuck with it 'cos we use the Orange Wednesdays every week too

Finally changed to Te$co mobile contract last month 'cos of Uni!

 

Have told the parentals though, thanks
