Forgive me for this but........my best beloved first born heard on Friday that she has got a distinction in her MA...She has had a horrible year, with all sorts of illness & stress, & would have given up I think if the uni hadn't awarded her a studentship to do the course - but despite all this, she did so well.

It's in English so it will be of NO practical value at all - but all the same...

Brilliant. Well done to your DD. Sounds like quite an achievement under the circumstances.

 

I too am very proud of my DD. She got a distinction in her Master of Reasearch in Psychology and after a year getting clinical experience as an Assistant Psychologist, has just started her Clinical Doctorate at Birmingham Uni. I am so chuffed for her. All her hard work is paying off.
