Kermit
Oh what a blow, school shut so I can't go in - days off like this are wasted on kids. Taken some pics of the hives and thought people might like them:

patsylabrador
My ES was supposed to fly to Japan from Gatwick today but when he got there he found out there were no flights. He then had to dash over to Heathrow and we think he's got a flight out. No snow here so we had been a bit blase about things. Shan't do that again. Old Speckled Hen
Lovely pictures ANH I can't believe how much snow there is. We have about six inches and no suggestion of a thaw at least up to this weekend. I HAVE to get to London on the 13th in the car so say a prayer that we have a window in all this. PLEASE Last year we had snow on the ground for four weeks and I'm sure it was far longer in Scotland.

Plum
It'll be nice not to have to keep clearing snow and defrosting the girls water. Getting fed up with wet kitchen floor, wellies and soggy newspaper
The Dogmother
Just watched the online forecast and it looks like the cold wind is here to stay - it will feel like -7deg here tomorrow
