I have not been given a date yet and don't want to bother them at the moment as I don't want them to stop building them to answer the phone. That way I might get in sooner. If I have not heard anything in a week or so I will see how they are getting on.

Did ask if the proper feeder/drinkers would be with that but couldn't give a definite yes or no.

Perhaps it depends on delivery areas. I know that they do that with the eglus - deliver on days that the van is going to that area.

According to the nice person waiting at home for me, five of six boxes are here. I'm not sure why we haven't got the sixth box, but apparently they'll drop it over the fence tomorrow. I'm trying not to be annoyed by this until I get home and work out which bit is missing and whether it's worth getting my knickers in a twist over it.

Got my delivery date too today in four weeks time, from lovely Jan at Omlet.

 

Mine comes by courier. I will go and visit the breeder to see how my baby banties are now - I didn't want to go sooner as I would want to pick them up and take them home straight away

Fingers crossed. I shall be sad and disappointed if I can't make it up tonight, although at least the delivery guy has promised to drop it over the fence, so no one has to wait in.

Perhaps a call to them would make you feel better, it's not pushing just asking. Mikey called as I have to reorganise clients well in advance and I can't stop a session mid flow to take delivery of a hen house. I think it's ok to ask, understanding the phones arfe busy so it may not be instant

I know how you feel

Its the unfairness that is getting to me not the slowness if that makes sense. I ordered over a week before and have got a date even later.

Theres times I hate living in Norfolk. I suppose at least they do arrange delivery to here unlike some companies.

No one at Omlet wanted this to seem unfair and no one is being singled out...honest Just delievery of actual cubes seems to be half that was originally promised to them and then there's the demand and the delivery...all causes a backlog.

Really panicking now!

 

I have left 3 messages on the answer phone and have not had a call back.

 

I just want someone to confirm our delivery date ( a quick 10 second call is all I want)

We are supposed to be on van 3 tomorrow but I am becoming increasingly paranoid that we have been forgotten about.

 

It is quite late in the afternoon now to re-arrange holidays, Dan is taking the whole day off and I will have the afternoon off, we are going to pick up new chickens on friday as the children have an inset day so they will get to choose
