I have a man coming friday morning to cost a 2nd WIR for me

I want to extend mine to give a seperate area to make introductions easier....

 

and we do have some wood and weldmesh left over, it would be a shame to waste it

 

Just need to be nice to OH and get him to book some time off work

I have two, althought technically I have five as one of them is split into four and has four doors but if OH asks it is just the two

One of those is split in to three sections with a fourth to be added

 

I would highly recommend them to anyone who is dithering about getting one - it makes everything soooo much easier

Me I originally had 18 x 6 then had a separate 8 x 6 added to the end for the banties

Getting another WIR will actually make life easier Egluntyne, as i have one cube and eglu outside with their own runs at the moment which is a complete pain to clean out, roll on friday and a fair price and then it'll be all systems go

Exactly what I thought!

 

Falkor has seen our garden...I couldn't physically fit another WIR into it. Two WIRs are more than enough anyway, says she after completely cleaning out one today. I could fit more in if we got rid of OH's polytunnel and fruit cage but I suppose he's entitled to some of the garden.

Well! my plans are scuppered after receiving a ridiculous quote for a new WIR.....................however...... OH says he could and will build a better one cheaper So, i may have to wait a bit longer but looks like its still on the cards

I have 3. A 6ft x 18ft one divided into 3 equal runs, an 9ft x 18ft one & 9ft x 9ft one

I have had 2 for a long time now.....more from necessity,as I want to keep the Banty flock separate.

Groundworks should be finished on the weekend I'm waiting to hear from chirpy coops for a delivery and installations date for the run (although its all paid for )
