They are just fabulous and good photos too. I love the one of 'little and large' Actually this really shows the differnce in size you can get in chickens, something which I never seem to get from books on different breeds. I wish books would put a ruler or something next to their pictures so one could see. Some do put weights but that does not mean a great deal to me.

Its not a great photo 'cos took it on my phone but 'spose it does show the variation you can get

Might try + get a better one of the 2 of them on the proper camera :D

I want a buff columbian pekin - could you breed me one please Lewis

I would breed them if I had a boy!

Want to get Quigley back, the lavender frizzle boy that I hatched the same time as these, in the summer to breed from ... can you imagine what they'll look like?! 8)

Will see what Dad says ;)

Wicked photos Lewis

I have an ex-batt boy (that I am trying to find a home for). Up to now I daren't put him in with bantams but after seeing your photos I am now wondering if he would be ok, or should I say would the bantams be ok? Is it ok to put big boys in with a mixed flock of various shapes and sizes?

I think he'd be fine :D

Our 3 boys have been FRing with everyone else forever (hatched in May) but live separately in the (green eglu) but they all get on fine.

You can see how small Mabel the pekin is and she's been alright with them
