snowberry
I always wake up at 4am; however it would be counterproductive to go on the computer at that time if I wanted to get back to sleep again! I hope your ES has a fantastic time, it's a brilliant experience for him!
Paola
Can I join? It can get very lonely here in Singapore when the UK is asleep!
sage
DD woke me at 3.30am shouting " all aboard all aboard" went into her room she was fast asleep. Went back to bed to fine hubby had moved over to my pillow but his body was on his side. Managed to shift him over only to lay there for the next hour looking at the ceiling. Gave up in the end and read my book. Now at work feeling it should be lunch time Sage

Alis girls
I know Lesley it was eerily quiet. Not even a Mod to say get back to bed. Insomnia is no joke I think my age makes me lack good sleep - permanently knackered these days. Just envied you ladies and gent snoring for the UK and commonwealth. Taking YS to cinema so can snooze there zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
chickencam
It may be your age but more likely your family commitments that keep you awake. Might be worth a blood test though, I feel so much better most of the time since I was diagnosed and treated for an under active thyroid, I thought that I was just old before my time. I hope that you have a relaxing evening and a good night's sleep tonight.
Alis girls
Early night is out I'm afraid I am helping with new youth group. I think they may have to remove my slumbering body off the pool table and they say teenagers are trouble - you ain't seen nuffink yet
ElvisFan
When I have problems sleeping I always have a cup of camomile tea before heading up the wooden hill, always sleep well but then have to get up a six as I am dying for a wee !
Lewis
I've never been very good at sleeping, even from when I was younger 3am is about normal time for me to go to bed - even if I went to bed at 10 I wouldn't be able to sleep so I don't bother trying anymore. Always do work at night 'cos the flat is quieter and theres no-one on facebook so can't get distracted I always sing though and forget other people go to sleep! I did Night Lambing just before Easter which was was ideal for me 'cos we'd start at 9pm and finish from 6am-10.30am depending on the day. We used to do a night, finish at 7, home (shower ) and go straight to lectures. I would power nap all afternoon though

Lesley
Just like my son Lewis - his normal bedtime is 3 or 4 am and he's like me, we only need about 5 or 6 hours sleep. I would just like my 6 hours to be in one go
Shirl
I could have joined you. At 3am I was writing a note for the OH to dig the camcorder out for me and then hunting for Eloise's ballet cd. I got to sleep not too long after and then was woken at 7:15 by Hermione. I'm hoping I will sleep better tonight but I probably won't. Plum
Lewis you are young. See you in the early hours folks It's my arms and legs that wake me up or stop me getting back to sleep the seem to go into intermittent jerks -

patsylabrador
I always wake at 3am but I read this thread yesterday & slept through last night to 6.30am. Odd.
Alis girls
Well mangaed to stay awake during the youth group - partely due to the fact I was "bouncer" for the evening ("you're big you can you do the door") I am 5ft9 and size 14 hardly huge but did my bit to keep the teens safe - what I didnt tell them is that I am a wuss - pure and simple - and slept like a baby till 8am when I thought must let the girls out -they were not impressed. Lewis
Naa We finished RENT (musical) last night so all went out. We were on the Pier and realised it was light outside so we'd best go home!
