LuckyChickenLover-
I'm (hopefully) going to see it on Wednesday with my friend and his French exchange friend I too am trying to read the book again. I only started yesterday and I've done 200 pages so far. A couple of years ago I tried to read all 7 of them in a week... I failed

bluekarin
I too want to go and see it. Will be bittersweet though I've loved watching the characters and the actors grow up over the past 10 years or so, and it will be sad to know there will be no more. Janepie33
All off to see it on Sunday for DDs 19th birthday. We took DS and friends to see the first one on his 10th birthday (He'll be 21 in November). We have all the books, all the audio tapes and all the DVDs. Really looking forward to seeing the film but will mourn the end of an era.

squiffs
My dad watched the midnight showing in singapore (about 4pm yesterday), and said to me not to bother watching it in 3D - it isn't made for it, and is very dark and spoils it somewhat not being able to make out the picture - he's going to watch it again in 2D. Seagazer
Can't wait to see it, I must get on and book some tickets. It will be sad, the end of an era. I really enjoyed the last film as I think it really showed how they were all growing older. My friend was seeing it at 12.05 this morning. surfer_chicken
I saw it on Friday and it was amazing (in 2D of course). I'll miss the Harry Potter series, the books were incredible and the films have been the only times I have been to the cinema and the audience have cheered. Janepie33
Brilliant film. Loved it! Everyone clapped when it has finished. Shame about the handful of incontinent people who needed to rush of to the toilet at the quietest moments, bashing their seats as they went and thundering up the isles. gongladosh
that's modern Britain for you. Bet they all drank a load of beer beforehand... People can't seem to do just one thing at a time these days...

chuckmum6
We saw it last week, my kids and I thought it was brilliant, we enjoyed a pretty empty cinema too. We've broken up for the summer two weeks before most other schools, so we have done as many things we can before it gets busy.
