The Dogmother
Yes, I see a woman every morning in our park - she has two wee yappy things (Chihuahuas I think) she takes them to the park then sit on a bench smoking and texting while they yap at everything in the park, then she goes back to her car 5 mins later
lillybettybabs
Blimey, thats let out for a quick wee for my lot! Dogs make good fitness regimes; I have a lab that never tires and a 5mile walk each day has to be add to my daily routine else i don't arf hear about it! I should write to the walking boot manufactures as i would be a good tester.
The Dogmother
they can chase my two loons around any day; Cyrus needs some wearing out or he's a pest.
Seagazer
It's mad, why bother getting a dog if you're not going to walk it? Just back from our walk, Cookie is fast asleep on the floor. She loves the chucky ball thing, really wears her out. Really makes my wrist hurt though. It's got to be good for my bingo wings though - must remember to use left arm too
Lavenders_Blue
Right I'm joining a dog walking club with you two then! Your dogs sound much more like the sort Tango would get on with, she could walk all day too. We did a 2.5 hour walk last weekend which culmintated in Tango doing mad zoomies with a labradoodle as we were nearly back at the car I wouldn't mind some of her energy! The look of horror on these ladies' faces when I said I did 1.5 hours walking each day was priceless though They didn't take me up on my offer to go walking with them... Purplemaniacs
Back on track , I did the Sport Relief Mile at school yesterday with all the children in fancy dress, I did a mixture of run and walk hand in hand with a four year old penguin who seemed less keen on running than me Also did archery in the evening. Now the clocks are altering I must make more of an effort to get more excercise Chrissie[/color]

lillybettybabs
Well my shoulder is hurting today (i think the gardening has aggravated it) had a cold shower to sooth it and slapped so freeze gel on. No gym tonight for me.
The Dogmother
Oh no, what a pain. I know how you feel; I had a rotator cuff tear on my left shoulder a couple of years ago and it's only recently that it has really gone.... it's not an easy part of the body to rest is it? Have you tried laser treatment? That helped mine no end. My back was slightly dodgy yesterday morning but a whole day on hands and knees in the garden oddly seems to have sorted it rather than making it worse. I shall be at circuits tonight as the cold is slightly better and I can breathe again.

The Dogmother
Well done. I went to circuits and dragged myself round despite coughing a bit. Rosie went running before we went , then she swam 40 lengths while I was 'circuiting'.

The Dogmother
I wasn't a pretty sight K I've always wanted to try Pilates. I'm not disciplined enough to do DVDs though and you can't see anything on my diddy TV
lillybettybabs
you've had that cold for a while now. Well at least you couldn't smell the fusty smells at circuits.
The Dogmother
Yes, I hatched it from Rosie last Tuesday, so nearly a week. That shows how exhausted I am as I usually get over them quickly. Yes, I wouldn't even have cared if the farter was there as I couldn't smell him/her.
Lavenders_Blue
Well the Moment of Truth is nearly upon us, the 17 mile walk I set as my fitness goal is happening tomorrow. Hubby, Tango and I will be up and out for 7.30am to start our walk and we will finish mid afternoon, footsore and exhausted no doubt. Wish us luck!
