Henslaved
With a lot of help from a forum member I now have two beautiful new ladies , No names as yet, but am waiting to see what sort of personalities these two have, Barred Wyandotte, this little lady seems to be very strong for her size and very friendly Blue Laced Wyandotte, this little lady seems a little bossy, some taming to do here me thinks Who me! It feels like christmas in my house, what with all the snow and my two new girlies Needless to say Rosie, Muppet and Scoot are non too pleased with their new house mates . Rosie screamed non stop for about 10 minutes , Muppet wouldn't come out of the roosting area and Scoot made her comb bleed trying to get at them through the wire (silly girl ). I hate intro's . I must dig out my water pistol for later . Sunday tomorrow, guess what I'll be doing . Edited February 4, 2012 by Guest

Duncan08
They are beautiful girls, good luck with the intros, I have just started putting my babies in with the big girls at night and given them an hour in the daylight together, cant say its going brilliantly, Chillie is still a nark and Bluebell is desparate to not end up at the bottom again. No idea why they can't just get on Slow and steady eh.
Henslaved
I have decided on Pudding (barred) and Treacle (laced) as they are both so sweet . Treacle gave me my first egg the day after I got her and Pudding has just started crouching today ...... and my little Scoot has just come back into lay, WOO HOO! no more shop bought eggs . As for the intros Duncan08, definitely slowly, slowly .
jackian
I agree with the slowly slowly , mine have been 3 weeks apart and are now together after a shaky start . Not a peck for at least a week .The first week was a nightmare wondering if I had done the right thing .Great news about your eggs and progress with your girls
