The majority of the time I enjoy my tootle down to the hens to let them out in the morning, but I would much prefer one for when away, or in the winter evenings. The Dogmother Posted September 22, 2012 Share Posted September 22, 2012 I know a bloke who tried one out; it would shut at a pre-set level of darkness, but always managed to leave a chicken out in the run if it wasn't already tucked up I don't shut the cube door until it's well sub-zero. chickencam Posted September 24, 2012 Share Posted September 24, 2012 I presumed that it had gone out to everyone registered with them for newsletters etc. I have filled it in and it asked what kind of house and run you had including homemade and wooden, but only gave you one option, which is a shame as i have a Classic and a homemade house. I usually shut my girls in every night, but this last 2 wks i haven't as i am dog sitting and they create something terrible around them so i'm not making it obvious i'm doing much near them, but the dogs go home on wednesday so i will be closing them in and letting them out again, and talking to them and as my neighbour says singing to them, she means my clucks to encourage them to come out so i can see that they are all alright.
